February 2010:
February 28th: Navy is awarded RWD by Ms Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine at the International Kennel Club
February 27th: Navy is awarded RWD by JUDGE: Mr Brian Meyer at the International Kennel Club
February 26th: Navy is awarded WD by Donald Booxbaum at the Blackhawn Kennel Club
February 25th: Navy is award WD by Francine Schwartz at the Park Shore Kennel Club
February 14th: Gigi is awarded a major reserve. Navy's son Kyrie Twilight wins a major this weekend as well!
February 13th: Argos Thank Heaven "Gigi" (a full older sister to Navy) wins WB/BOW for 2 points bringing her to 6 points. Congratulations to Debbie Walker on her owner-handled win!
February 11th: Argos Kell Armada (Ch Blue Heavens Hi Ho Silver x Argos What Comes Around) was awarded WD/BOW for 4 points at Indy. This gives him both majors.
February 7th: It was a bridesmaid weekend. Argos Kyrie Marked goes to her first shows with new owners Wendy Mount and Carolyn Vack and takes RWB. Argos Kell Armada took RWD last weekend followed by a 4pt major reserve in MO this weekend.
January 2010: on Jan 27th Kyrie Argos Enchanted whelped a litter of 4 puppies (2 tri F, 1 tri M and 1 blue male) - litter co-bred with Tracy Grathwohl. On 1/31 Kyrie Argos Print in History whelped a litter of two puppies but ones expired, the remaining puppy is a bi-blue male - litter also co-bred with Tracy Grathwohl.
October 2009:
October 30th - Argos Kyrie Marked wins Best Puppy at the Northern Oklahoma SSC, handled by Becky Johnson. Also this month, Kiva is OFA good and MSU thyroid normal.

August 2009: While taking a break from the ring to prepare for our human baby due in September we have been busy visiting with friends, co-bred litters and vet visits. Colbie and Crush were MSU thyroid tested and are normal. Colbie's full younger sister Argos Kyrie Marked is getting ring ready for her debute and we thing she's just as impressive as Colbie. Karma is in whelp to Ch. Kandisweet War Paint for a mid-September litter co-bred with Lochleven Shetland Sheepdogs.
April 2009:
April 25th - CH. Argos Storybook Dreams Collide, out the first time as a special makes it to the final cuts at the ASSA national, thank you to judge Guy Jeavons.
April 18/19th - Argos Tuscan Moon, owned by Laura Ross is awarded RWD the first day and WD the second day at the Ohio shows.
April 11th it's now CHAMPION Argos Storybook Dreams Collide, Colbie finishes at an all breed show going WB, BOS under Francine Schwartz. Thanks to my bestfriend Tracy Grathwohl who handled her to this win while I had to work.
April 4th Argos Storybook Dreams Collide is awarded Best in Sweeps by judge Gini Shaw and a specialty Reserve Winners Bitch by Dianne Hawes at the Interlocking SSC specialty
March 2009:
March 22nd 2009 Argos Storybook Dreams Collide is awarded Best in Sweeps by Judge Marilyn Marlow followed by a 4 point specialty Reserve Winners Bitch by judge Jo Virden at Greater St Louis SSC.
March 21st Colbie is awarded runner up in sweeps by Vicki Piccirillo at the Greater St Louis SSC.
March 13th "Colbie" is awarded a 4 point specialty RWB by judge Rick Thompson.
March 12th Argos Storybook Dreams Collide is awarded WB/BOW by judge Tom Coen for a 3 point major at the Louisville KC show. This brings Colbie to 14 points with 3 majors.
March 8th Colbie is awarded RWB by Rick Gschwender at the Logansport KC show.
March 7th Colbie takes Winners Bitch and BOB awarded by Judy A. Doniere at the Logansport KC show. Thanks to Julie Spayde who's handling her this weekend while I work.
March 6th Argos Storybook Dreams Collide "Colbie" is awarded WB/BOS by judge Sulie Greendale-Pavenza at the Laporte County KC show.
February 2009:
February 13th - Colbie is awarded a 4point WB/BOS by judge Judith Goodin. On the 14th she's awarded a puppy group 4th. On the 22nd she's award RWB by Dorothy Collier.
February 1st Colbie is awarded a Best in Sweeps by Sandra King at the Chicagoland Shetland Sheepdog Club. Later than day she is awarded a 5 point Winners Bitch by Carolyn Ing, the bitch entry was 36.
February 1st - Argos Kell Armada was awrded a 4 point specialty major at the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club under judge Kathy Wilkins. "Navy" is bred by Allison Gilbert and Amy Massey and owned by Allison Gilbert. He is currently residing in CO with his handler Debbbie Walker-VanDerWerken.

January 2009:
January 31st - Argos Storybook Dreams Collide "Colbie" is awarded Best in Sweeps by Mary Escalante at the Chicagoland Shetland Sheepdog Club, with an entry of 20 puppies. This is her first show. Previously this month on her 6 month birthday Colbie is taken to ICKC's all breed match and comes away with Best Puppy in Match, with many compliments and lots of breeders of sporting and working dogs asking to go over her. Colbie is co-bred by Allison Gilbert and Laura Ross and owned by Allison Gilbert.
December 2008: It's been the time for testing lately. CERF's (all normal) for Colbie, Crush and Tyson and MSU thyroid (normal) for Tyson. The puppies Colbie and Crush continue to strut their stuff in classes and public outings, getting ready for the ring. Navy is growing coat as well as Nila and will be out when their coat is in. Karma is being bred to BISS CH. Kandisweet War Paint, a co-bred litter with Lochleven Shetland Sheepdogs. We await Hope and Paris to come into season and settle down for the cold and snowy winter months...and think of warmer days to come.
November 2008: Nila's OFA results are in - Excellent, which makes her CERF/MSU thyroid normal, vWD clear by parentage and OFA Excellent. We also had a visit from Tracy Grathwohl and were able to take pictures of Kiva, Patty, Colbie and Crush so visit our girls page to check them out. Tracy is expecting the first litter sired by Argos Kell Armada any day and we are excited to see what this young sire will produce.
Sepember 2008: It's been a while since we've done updates. In the past year Argos Thank Heaven, Argos Lochleven Rough Rider and Argos Bi the Tuscan Moon have won points at various shows. We have new hopefuls from the July 2008 litters out of Argos Blue Nile and Kyrie Argos Print in History that are growing up...I am sure I am missing a lot of important details, but that's the "big" things this year.

June 2007: Fathers Day brings with it a new litter. A repeat of the Ranger x Karma breeding this time co-bred with Jeanette Powers-Hodson and Amy Massey of Kell Shetland Sheepdogs. This combination previously produced Nila, Gigi, AP and performance star Zoey that are approaching a year old. We are excited to see what this combination continues to produce for us.
May 2007: Vannah finishes her Canadian Championship with a 4 point BOW with breeder/co-owner Bev Klassen.
April 2007: Karma has been bred to Ch. Blue Heavens Hi Ho Silver for a repeat of the very stunning threesome Nila, AP and GiGi. The litter is co-bred with Amy Massey of Kell shelties - we are both VERY excited about this litter.
August 2006: August brings with it a number of changes and new events. A litter of 6 puppies were born on July 30th sired by Ch. Blue Heavens Hi Ho Silver x Argos What Comes Around. On August 11th I graduated with from MSU's College of Nursing second bachelors degree Accelerated Option program with honors. I am in the process of moving to a new home in Howell, MI and will be getting married in September.
May 2006: We had 2 litters born on the 18th. The first lit(ter) was a singleton puppy out of Hope by Ch. Eli. The second litter of 3 sable girls is sired by Kyrie Dream Catcher out of Buehneman Brown Sugar.
April 2006: I have been taking a break from breeding and showing while in the Accelerated Option BSN program at MSU, our good friend Amy Massey agreed to show two of the Kyle kids at the 2006 National - Kelvin and Karma. Kelvin (Argos Bi the Tuscan Moon) placed 4th today in a competitve 9-12 month AOAC cla
